Postcards from the Other Side of the Screen brings together a collection of experiments and creative responses developed during the final cycle of the Wonder Club programme, a series of creative workshops with young people held at Hove Museum of Creativity between April and October 2025. Drawing inspiration from the inventions, techniques, and imagined worlds of Brighton & Hove’s early film pioneers, participants created sketches, visual studies, fictional devices, and archival interventions that reimagine the possibilities of the moving image.

This zine was created as part of Wonder Club, a creative programme of workshops for young people at Hove Museum of Creativity led by artist Chahine Fellahi, exploring early film through experimental approaches to photography, film, and image-making. The programme was part of Days of Wonder, a three-year programme exploring film and media heritage in Brighton, curated and produced by videoclub and Corridor Projects in partnership with Brighton & Hove Museums and Screen Archive South East.
